DuraMag Aluminum Canopy Service Bodies
An Enclosed Aluminum Service Body Built for Work
Turn your work truck into a secure, enclosed mobile workspace with a DuraMag aluminum canopy service body. Designed for contractors, service technicians, utility crews and mobile service fleets, the DuraMag canopy combines the organized storage of an aluminum service body with a full-width enclosed cargo and work area.
Frontline Truck Bodies can help you select the proper body configuration, canopy height, storage options and truck fitment for your application.
What Is a DuraMag Canopy Service Body?
The DuraMag canopy is installed as part of a DuraMag aluminum service body during production. Instead of leaving the center cargo area open, the canopy encloses the body from side to side, creating a protected area for tools, equipment, parts and supplies.
For businesses that work out of their trucks every day, the result is essentially a mobile workshop: exterior service-body compartments for organized tool access plus an enclosed center area that provides additional security and protection from the weather.
Why Choose an Aluminum Canopy Service Body?
Enclosed Tool Storage
Keep valuable tools, parts and equipment contained inside an enclosed service body instead of exposed in an open cargo area.
Weather Protection
An enclosed canopy gives technicians a protected cargo and work area when conditions on the job site are less than ideal.
Aluminum Construction
Aluminum reduces body weight compared with traditional steel while eliminating the red-rust problems associated with steel bodies.
More Usable Payload
Reducing body weight can leave more of the truck's available GVWR for tools, equipment, inventory and materials.
Mobile Workspace
Organize your truck so commonly used tools and supplies remain accessible wherever the next service call takes you.
Professional Appearance
An enclosed, powder-coated work body gives commercial fleets a clean and professional appearance on the road and at the job site.

DuraMag Canopy Service Body FAQ
Is the DuraMag canopy a separate truck body?
The canopy is an option incorporated into a DuraMag service body during production, creating an enclosed center cargo and workspace area.
Can I stand inside a DuraMag canopy?
It depends on the canopy height. DuraMag offers configurations with approximately 51", 61" and 72" of interior clearance. The 74" canopy provides approximately 72" of clearance.
Can I put a ladder rack on a DuraMag canopy body?
Yes. Heavy-duty ladder rack configurations and DuraMag's accessory glide track are among the available canopy options.
Does the canopy have rear doors?
Composite rear barn doors are part of the standard canopy configuration. A roll-up rear door is also available as an option.
How do I know which DuraMag body fits my truck?
Fitment depends on the truck, chassis configuration, cab-to-axle measurement, single- or dual-rear-wheel configuration and intended application. Contact Frontline Truck Bodies before ordering so the correct body and configuration can be matched to the truck.
